SOQT NEEDS YOUR HELP!

 SOQT has found a bus! We are VERY close to being able to purchase it, however we still need to raise about $25,000 in order to get the payment where we need it as well as satisfy the bank. We believe that if God wants us to have this bus for travel purposes, HE will provide it, and we are fully trusting in HIM for it, as we know we can not do it on our own. While we are thankful for our current travel situation, it was not intended for the amount of miles that we travel, nor was it made for 5 grown men (3 of which sleep on the floor). We realize that taking over a bus is a big responsibility, but we are ready to take this step. We are willing to stick our neck out for this because every weekend, we see people encouraged by our ministry, and more importantly, we're seeing souls being saved! We are always looking for ways to improve the ministry and this is a major change that will help in a lot of ways. A bus will help our travel be safer and more restful. Each member of SOQT will have their own bunk. A bus is made for one million miles and so it will be more reliable as well as durable. There will be more space for our equipment and product. In addition, on our longer trips we will be able to take a driver with us. These are just a few things that we feel are important enough to make this change.

How can you help? 
We are simply asking for your prayers and support. Please pray that we will continue to effectively minister no matter what the situation may be, and also pray for our safety as we travel and that our hearts will always be focused on HIM! SOQT will be singing at South Jefferson Baptist church in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Sunday evening at 6:oo pm. This is a late addition to the schedule. If you live in the area please come out and see us as we would love to see you there!

SOQT ON THE CHARTS!
Our current single, He's Coming Back Soon, made its debut on the Singing News Top 80 Chart at number 80! Be sure and call in to your local radio station and request to hear He's Coming Back Soon!


The National Quartet Convention 2008 was a huge success!! SOQT would like to thank all of our families and friends for the overwhelming support you gave to us this past week! We would also like the thank the NQC Board of Directors for taking a chance on us and giving us the opportunity to sing on the mainstage!  


Be sure and make plans to attend this year's National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY! SOQT will be making it's debut appearance on the mainstage Monday, Sept. 8, 2008 around 9:30pm at Freedom Hall. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

SOQT has hired a piano player!! Michael Howard is 19 years old and hails from Hebron, KY. He joined the group in May of this year. The group is excited about this addition. We will have his bio and photo posted soon. 

Soul'd Out Quartet welcomes Dusty Barrett as Tenor. Dusty lives in Knoxville, TN with his wife Alisa and his 1 year old daughter, Kate. He has been singing for over 6 years and is filling this position quite well.  

Soul'd Out Quartet is excited to announce the arrival of our new cd called "Ain't Nobody". This cd is available on our online store and it is definitely the best that project that SOQT has recorded. We went back and re-recorded We Shall Rise, He Hideth My Soul, and Please Remember Me, which the group did in 2005. We spiced up the tracks and vocals and we think you all will love it. Also on this recording are 6 other original songs and a medley with three hymns about Heaven!!
